The New England Patriots have one of the top 20 quarterbacks in the NFL in Mac Jones, according to the Madden ratings experts. Jones landed at 17th overall with a 78 overall rating.
Jones’ best stats include a 92 in short accuracy, an 84 in intermediate accuracy and an 82 in deep accuracy. That makes sense for the quarterback, who was not mobile (nor was he expected to be). Jones relied upon quick processing and accurate passing to lead New England to a 10-7 record and a playoff berth. (It didn’t hurt that he had a really solid defense, which eventually folded in the postseason loss to the Buffalo Bills.)
So here’s a look around the NFL at the top 20 quarterbacks — and where Jones fits into the big picture.
