Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is set to be released in the summer of 2024. This friend-em-up 3D narrative adventure is going to be available for the PC through Steam as well as consoles.
It has you take on the role of Alex, a backpacker who finds herself stranded on Ambrosia Island. As explores the island, she realizes that she's not alone and that the gods of Greek myth and legend are with here. The problem is that they don't know who they are and it's up to Alex to help them restore their memories and at the same time find a way home.
There's no question that an exciting adventure awaits you in this game. However, there are also things that you need to do to fully immerse yourself in the game world. Here's five of them:
1. Meeting the Locals
Ambrosia Island has stunning waters and colorful vegetation. There are also Greek gods of all shapes, sizes, and even colors, in the island. They'll be shy and even confused at the start. However, as you get to interact more with them, your bond of friendship with them grows. It helps to look for Ambrosia fruit and give it as a gift.
2. A Helping Hand
In most cases, life on the island is relaxing. However, every now and then the gods need a hand and they're not afraid to hand out generous rewards to those who give aid. In fact, some of them may even let you use their godly powers to get insight into those hidden treasures and get to the hottest spots in record time, to name a few.
3. X Marks the Spot
An island adventure won't be complete with some treasure hunting. The good news is that there's a lot of long-forgotten treasures in Ambrosia that's simply waiting to e discovered. To get things started you'll need to get your hands on the Ambrosidex which can be obtained through Ora, the island's statue oracle.
This Ambrosidex helps you with the necessary tools to find even the most hidden secrets. Keep a close eye on the radar signal especially when you go exploring.
4. Island Sounds
Enjoying a relaxing view is made better when paired with a calming soundtrack. Scattered across the island are mix tapes. When you find one, be sure to put them in the cassette players which can be accessed at one of the lounging spots that's in the island. Once that's done just kick back and enjoy the jams.
5. Bring Out the Wild Side
There' a lot of different wildlife present on the island. One thing's for sure though is that there's a lot of those adorable and food-loving seagulls. You can feed these seagulls and if you have nothing, not to worry. Just look for Hermes and he'll have some treats to share with you.
