Kiran Kaur, the mother of Henry Nowak's killer, is expected to be released from prison in early December and could face deportation to India after serving part of her three-year sentence for helping her son following the student's murder.
Kaur, 53, was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on 17 July after being convicted of assisting an offender. The Sun reported on 15 October that she had received a Deportation Liability Notice at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey, indicating that her removal from the UK was being considered.
