Helen Skelton has treated her children to a fun filled holiday in the UK following her ex-husband's loved-up break with his new girlfriend.
The former Blue Peter presenter announced her split from rugby player Richie Myler, 32, in April this year – just four months after the couple welcomed their third child together.
Following their breakup, Richie has since moved on with new flame Stephanie Thirkill and shared snaps from their trip to Padstow, Cornwall last week.
But taking to Instagram yesterday (August 2), Helen proved he isn't the only one to have fun after whisking their three kids to Cumbria.
The Countryfile star shared a photo of herself playing in the pool with their youngest child - daughter Elsie Kate.
Helen beamed in the shot as she sported a swimming costume whilst lifting her adorable daughter in the air.
"You wouldn’t believe it but it’s Cumbria," she wrote. "Hands up if you’re from the Eden Valley and spent your summers in an unheated outdoor pool??"
It comes after Richie also shared a series of photos from his romantic break with new girlfriend Stephanie.
One photo in his post saw couple cuddling up in front of a sunny backdrop as they stood and smiled at the camera.
Richie also posted a video of him wading into the sea followed by a photo of a sunny harbour, captured during their trip.
He captioned the photos: "Cornwall was worth a 32 year wait."
Following the post, a source went on to claim that Helen, who was recently scammed out of £70,000, was left "devastated" after seeing the loved-up pictures.
A source told new! magazine: "Helen is devastated. It's one thing knowing it's happening, but it's another thing actually seeing it.
"For him to post it all over Instagram has been hard. She feels like this is rubbing it in her face, and it's a knife to the heart. It just seems a bit insensitive."
The insider also added that while Helen has kept a "dignified silence" following the breakup, her pals have rallied round to support the TV presenter.
Meanwhile, Helen is said to be "focusing on the kids and work".
The star shares Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and seven-month-old Elsie Kate with ex-husband Richie.
The source went on: "She's focusing on the kids and work. She's not ready to get back out there on the dating scene but her friends would like her to meet someone."
