Helen Flanagan has hinted she's ready to return to the Coronation Street cobbles as Rosie Webster.
The 32-year-old actress quit the soap in 2018 after welcoming her third child with Scott Sinclair. She had been a part of the long-running show for almost two decades after first landing the role at the age of just 10.
But now, she has teased that she is ready to make a return to the Rovers on-set and hopes she can do so with her character being a mum.
Speaking at the ITV Palooza Awards on Tuesday, she opened up on how she sees her return panning out.
She told the Daily Star : "I would come back as a mum I think. I'd love to see her as a mum. I think that would be really interesting if that was why she went away. I think she would probably just leave the baby with Sally and she’d be out all the time."
Helen also teased how Rosie would return in the same rebellious mode she was used to playing and would be likely to head back with a lot of baggage in tow.
"I would love a scandalous baby daddy," she confessed. "That would be really good actually. Maybe not knowing the dad, that would be really amazing."
At the event, Helen dazzled onlookers as she paraded along the blue carpet weeks after splitting from her fiancé.
Ahead of her arrival at the glitzy bash at London's South Bank Centre, she showcased her getting ready routine to her 1million Instagram followers as she stripped to tiny lingerie and asked them to help her pick her glam look for the night.
In recent weeks, rumours of a return have been rife with a source telling the The Sun earlier in the month her comeback could be set for late next year.
They said: "Helen's talking about plans to return - not this year, but maybe late next year. Bosses have made it clear they'd welcome her back and she sees the soap cast as family.
"She misses them, and playing Rosie, a lot."
