Helen Flanagan took to social media earlier this week to confirm she'd undergone a breast augmentation. The former Coronation Street actress underwent the surgery in a bid to boost her body confidence after being left self-conscious from breastfeeding her three children.
The 32-year-old said she had always been busty with a natural E cup, but after breastfeeding Matilda, 7, Delilah, 4, and Charlie, 1, her breasts went to a B cup and became 'really saggy'.
Helen, who shares her children with ex-fiancé and former Celtic star Scott Sinclair, admitted she was nervous about disclosing her surgery due to negative social media comments. The soap star ultimately decided to be honest with fans as she is a "firm believer in women supporting other women."
Cuddling up with her youngest child Charlie, Helen said: "Mummy can't carry you," before explaining to the camera: "So I can cuddle Charlie, I just can't pick him up. Got some help this week."
The mum-of-three decided to have an uplift to improve her confidence but wanted to make it clear that she "loved" her breastfeeding journeys. Helen said: "I like to share my life on here, I like to be as honest as I can I was nervous because people can be unkind.
"I'm very much for you know, supporting other women in the choices that they decide to do and supporting other women. I feel passionately about breastfeeding, I don't regret breastfeeding at all.
"I would always do it again and I love that. I just wanted to be honest about my experiences because other women might be able to relate to me."
Helen and Scott reunited over Christmas to surprise their children with pet guinea pigs after calling time on their relationship earlier in the year.
The soap actress and football star called their 13 year romance quits earlier this year. The I'm A Celebrity star was spotted at the National TV Awards in October without her engagement ring, prompting many to think the pair had called off their engagement.
The couple had reportedly set the date for a 2024 wedding day before their split.
