Helen Flanagan has defied the trolls as she returned to social media and showed off her plump pout and sensational figure in a bikini for a make-up tutorial. The actress previously appeared on social media to hit back at 'vile' comments she had seen about herself online after being snapped on holiday in Greece.
Helen, who is famed for having appeared in Coronation Street as Rosie Webster, has been letting her hair down in Mykonos with her stylist pal Kelvin Barron. But the former soap star found herself so incensed by what she had read about herself that she took time out of her break to respond.
Over the weekend, Helen shared how some paparazzi bikini photos had been published and she was disgusted by what people were saying about her in the comments, including saying she had put on weight before another branded her 'insecure'.

After railing at the disgusting comments in a video posted to her Instagram Story, Helen shared three different pictures of herself pregnant before another Ipost showed her breastfeeding her now-two-year-old son, Charlie, as she vowed: "I also breastfeed my children in total for 3 years. I will not be body shamed. Yes I have had my boobs done and it's vile to shame that too."
And on Monday evening (June 12), Helen shared a new video that saw her sporting a revealing pink bikini as she defied those who'd made negative comments about her body. While she looked stunning make-up free, Helen proceed in the video to show her followers her makeup routine and listed a lot of products she uses.
Confirming it was an ad post, the mum-of-three penned in the caption of the post: "This is how I achieve a glam summer look on my holidays using all @bperfectcosmetics #AD."
And while the post didn't stop some of the more negative comments coming through, there were plenty of people defending Helen and flooding her with compliments. Former Love Island star Cally Jane said: "Stunning my girl."
@alan.ottewell said: "You look amazing." @shellie.parker commented: "Gorgeous lady and lovely mummy." @helen_flanagan_fanpage wrote: "Incredible. You looking absolutely amazing Helen." @rawwynic advised: "Ignore the haters Helen, you look great." @bacardilover11 added: "You look amazing!"
Back in March, Helen confirmed that she is now a single mum after splitting from her footballer fiance Scott Sinclair. She addressed speculation about her love life after rumours began to swirl earlier this year that she is now single. "We actually broke up in July," Helen told OK! Magazine about her relationship with Bristol Rovers' Scott, with whom she shares her children - Matilda, Delilah, and son Charlie.
The pair have since been navigating co-parenting and Scott's name was mentioned when she was cruelly slammed earlier this month for her choice to co-sleep with four-year-old Delilah while also facing backlash for being open about her two-year-old son's behaviour.
It came after Helen, who is famed for having played Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, shared her attempts to get a sweet selfie with her toddler son earlier this week. "Charlie’s tantrums today were off the scale," the 32-year-old admitted before adding: "Trying to get pictures with my two year old."
But while many of Helen's followers were supportive, she took the opportunity to respond to some of the negative responses that came her way. One said: "You’re why he has tantrums Helen the same as Delilah has tantrums. You are so overbearing and in their face all the time. I bet they don’t have tantrums like that when they’re with Scott and his mum?
"You said before that Delilah won’t you out of her sight and has to sleep with you. What tripe…what did she do on holiday with Scott when you weren’t there? You are using your kids to cover up your own insecurities and making them want you constantly and turning them into needy brats. You will regret your parenting style when they’re older," they added.
Sharing the troll's comment to her Instagram Story, Helen wrote: "Very strange some comments on Instagram. As a mum I want my kids to feel really loved and happy and safe. I’m affectionate and I co-sleep because that’s how Delilah is happier and I don’t want her to cry. She will grow out of it."
Helen was also hitting back at another commenter, who claimed she talked to her children “like puppies”. They typed: “Why do you constantly ask your kids for kiss after kiss….like it’s not normal plus the way you talk to them is like you are talking to puppies. You need to act like their mum…they need tough love and discipline.” In her next post, she posted a screenshot as she wrote: "Vile comments. I just love my kids."
