A teatime favourite is set to return to the dinner table after a gap of almost 20 years. Iceland has said it is "delighted" that the Heinz Beanz Pizza will be back in store this month.
The move follows a special brief return when the popular menu item was available via Deliveroo to mark Heinz 150th anniversary. However there were only 150 of the limited-edition pizzas available per restaurant which meant may fans were left disappointed.
Now it is making it available to more people with it heading to Iceland's shelves from November 14, reports Birmingham Live. The frozen ready meal will sell as £3.
The offering was many a child's top meal choice during the 1990s. But in 2003 it was discontinued, according to Iceland.
Now the frozen food giant is bringing it back. Iceland said: “We’re delighted to be relaunching the Heinz Beanz Pizza in stores this month.
"It’s as iconic as it gets in the freezer aisles. We’re ecstatic that Iceland customers will be first to try it.”
