Roughly 100 firefighters are tackling a huge blaze near Heathrow Airport this afternoon with thick black smoke billowing into the air.
The fire is on a nearby field as emergency services rush to tackle the blaze this afternoon.
An area of land near Hatton Road and Myrtle Avenue, a popular plane-spotting area in Feltham, West London, has set alight, with people sharing images of plumes of smoke on social media.
Planes will now be landing on the northern runway and taking off from the southern runway as a result of the fire which broke out shortly before 3pm.

London Fire Brigade confirmed that around 100 of its firefighters and 15 fire engines are tackling the blaze.
Around six hectares of land is alight and residents have been told to keep their windows and doors shut.
Some local businesses were also forced to be evacuated.
It's not yet known what caused the fire.
A spokesperson said: "Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters are tackling a grass fire near Hatton Road in Feltham."
Station Commander Paul Casey, who is at the scene, added: "The fire is producing a large amount of smoke.
"Residents in the local area, particularly around Bedfont Sports Club, should keep their windows and doors closed."
Heathrow Noise, a Twitter account that monitors runway operations, wrote: "Good afternoon, due to smoke from a fire off-airport we will be switching back to landing on the northern runway (27R) and taking off from the southern runway (27L).
"We apologise for the disruption."
Heathrow Airport officials confirmed that flights will not be impacted by the nearby fire and will be running as normal.
"Due to an off-airport fire, we have alternated our runways this afternoon," a spokesperson said.
"The fire is not impacting the operation and flights are continuing as scheduled.”
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) are also at the scene, with a spokesperson adding: “We received a call this afternoon around 15.05pm to a report of a fire on Hatton Road, Feltham.
“One fire engine was sent, arriving at the scene around 15.15pm. Some grass had caught fire.
“The crew remain at the scene tackling the fire.”
On Sunday afternoon, there was a separate fire near to the airport.
Fire crews tackled a blaze near Stanwell after reports of an out of control bonfire which saw several sheds alight.
There were no reports of any casualties or evacuations, but the thick smoke could be seen as far away as Hayes to the east and Windsor to the west.
