Hearts defender Toby Sibbick believes Hibs celebrating 'like they've won the league or a trophy' highlights the gap between the Edinburgh rivals at present.
The capital duo shared the spoils in last weekend's first Edinburgh derby of the season after the home side hit a last-gasp leveller with the final kick of the ball. Lawrence Shankland had fired Robbie Neilson's men in front with his first goal for the Jambos with David Marshall on top form to deny them on a number of opportunities.
With just a one goal lead, the Hibees always had a chance of hitting back and they did just that through returning fans' favourite Martin Boyle as he fired low beyond Craig Gordon to spark wild scenes between the players and fans in Leith. Fans spilled onto the pitch following the leveller with Lee Johnson's men lapping up the applause at the end of the game. In contrast, Hearts were left dejected and disappointed at picking up just one point at the home of their city rivals, with Sibbick claiming the celebrations and the disappointment of not winning the derby highlighting where both teams are at presently.

Speaking to Edinburgh Evening News, he said: " No, it's not great to see supporters running about the pitch, but I think it puts it into perspective where we are as a team.
“We're coming out, disappointed with a draw. They score an equaliser and it's like they've won the league or a trophy. It puts it into perspective where we both are.
“We've got high expectations in that we want to come here and win, and it looks like they're happy with a draw. But obviously it's football. Their fans are happy they got the goal and we're devastated we drew.
“I don't think they've beaten us for six or seven games now, so a draw is as close as they can get to beating us at the moment.”
Both clubs now have four points from a possible six after the opening two games of the Premiership season.
Next up for Neilson and Co is a game with Dundee United while the Hibees face a trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena to face Livingston.
