Garang Kuol has opened up on his interaction with Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.
The Australia international was involved in a Premiership defeat to the Scottish champions a couple of weeks ago with cameras picking up the two having a conversation post-match. The 18-year-old made the switch north on loan from Newcastle United after arriving at the English Premier League outfit from Central Coast Marines.
Robbie Neilson moved quickly to secure the talented teen to bolster his attacking ranks in the capital in a bid to secure back to back best of the rest finishes behind Celtic and Rangers. The youngster has made eight appearances to date for the men from Gorgie as he continues to settle into life in Scottish football and the senior game. Prior to his departure he had netted seven goals and provided four assists in the A-League as a Mariners first-team player.

But it was pep talk from Postecoglou - albeit 'very brief' - that showed a soft side to the former Socceroos boss as Kuol opened up on that chat. He told the Herald and the Age : "It was very brief."
"He just said, ‘I hope you’re settling in well, and keep working hard. I’m happy to see you’re working hard, and hopefully, you can keep doing well.’
"It’s good for him to show that he cares about other Aussie players in the league, and that he’s there for them. It was a very good moment.”
