A former place of worship in Johnstone has been targeted by heartless thugs who've caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints fell victim to the vandalism which saw multiple windows be smashed up.
The derelict building on Campbell Street was left in a sorry state after the vandals caused “extensive damage”, according to police officers.

The repair bill is estimated to be in its thousands as police appeal for anyone with information to come forward, the Record reports.
It’s not yet known the precise day the now-derelict church was vandalised – but police are working on the assumption that it was at some point between Wednesday, April 19 and Wednesday, May 10.
Inspector Lorna McLaren told the Paisley Daily Express: “Police attended a report of vandalism at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Campbell Street, Johnstone which is currently derelict.
“The damage has been caused between April 19 and May 10.
“We are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed the property being damaged and request if you have any information to contact 101 quoting incident number 1478 of May 10, 2023.”
