MUMBAI: The Bombay high court said on Monday it would hear on August 3 a fresh petition challenging the decision of the Eknath Shinde government to either stay or cancel decisions taken by the MVA relating to appointments and projects.
The plea, filed by retired IAS officer Kishore Gajbhiye and others, including former IAS officers and social workers, has challenged circulars dated July 20, 21 and several government resolutions of July 21. According to the petitioners, the CM cannot stay or nullify lawfully taken decisions of an earlier government.
