Hawks star point guard Trae Young had a life-changing Saturday, getting married to his fiancee Shelby Miller.
Young and Miller had been engaged since December 2021 before officially tying the knot during a ceremony on Saturday.
Videos from their wedding surfaced on social media featuring the two newlyweds enjoying a dance together in the center of a ballroom with the text “Forever Young” written in cursive on the floor.
Young, 24, and Miller, 27, have a son together, Tydus Reign Young, who was born in June 2022. The pair have been together since 2017, back in Young’s college days at the University of Oklahoma. Miller also went to school in Norman, where she was a cheerleader for the Sooners.

Last season, Young averaged 26.2 points alongside a career-high 10.2 assists. He shot 33.5% from three-point range, averaging 6.3 attempts per night, while leading Atlanta to the No. 7 seed in the East and a Play-In Tournament berth.
Young is entering his sixth season in the NBA in 2023-24. After getting a ring off the court during the offseason, he’ll be hoping to help the Hawks get another step closer toward winning one on the hardwood.
