A Brewdog boss has announced that their bars will be handing out free beers this week, in a bid to ‘spread some positivity’ amid the world being a ‘negative place’
Customers will be able to claim a free ‘Lost Lager’ with a special code in any of BrewDog’s bars, including three in Manchester.
James Watt, the CEO of the craft beer empire, posted on social media to share the news, offering customers the chance to have a ‘beer on me’ before Wednesday.

Posting on LinkedIn, James wrote: “Have a beer on me. Instead of posting about our business today I thought I would buy you all a beer instead.
“I wanted to say thanks to everyone who follows me on here and everyone who supports what we do at BrewDog from both a beer and a sustainability perspective. It is really appreciated.
“The world can be a pretty crazy and negative place at the moment, so I wanted to try and spread some positivity and good vibes.”
BrewDog has bars on Peter Street, Fountain Street and Oxford Road, and anyone can take advantage of the free pint of lager. All they’ll need to do is save the picture above and scan the code in any UK BrewDog bar to have a Lost Lager on the house. The offer is available today (October 24) and will run until Wednesday (October 26), with one free beer available per customer while stocks last.
James added: “Craft beer is all about bringing people together so tag a friend below who needs to join you for that beer! We love Lost Lager, we hope you guys do too.”
