David Prutton says that Harry Toffolo needs to rise up to the challenge presented to him by Nottingham Forest's signing of Renan Lodi.
The two players, who are both left-backs, will be vying for the same starting spot. It's a position Steve Cooper was keen to improve in the summer transfer window after playing Jack Colback there for much of last term.
The manager has now signed good options in that area of the pitch, also including Omar Richards, who is currently injured. Toffolo moved to the City Ground from Huddersfield Town for around £2m after losing the play-off final to the Reds, while Lodi arrives on loan from the Spanish capital.
