Harry Styles smiles as he dons spotty pyjamas in first look at CBeebies appearance

Harry Styles has been pictured in his pyjamas ahead of his first CBeebies appearance. The Watermelon Sugar singer got parents into a fluster earlier this month when he was revealed as the latest celebrity to read a Bedtime Story.

He is set to read 'In Every House, on Every Street', written by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine, and the story is a heartwarming celebration of homes and the different families that live in them.

Harry, who rose to fame as one-fifth of X Factor-made boyband One Direction, will be seen on screens tonight (Monday, May 23) and in first-look pictures, the 28-year-old can be seen donning blue and brown spotted pyjamas and a necklace of chunky beads.

He is also seen sitting cross-legged in a yellow armchair and smiling at the camera. Meanwhile, the singer's nails are painted a matching yellow and he wears a collection of chunky rings on his fingers.

Harry is set to introduce the story by saying: "Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter." He follows in the footsteps of Hollywood star Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America; Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and British actor Tom Hiddleston, who have all appeared on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.

His appearance to settle the nation’s children - and parents - comes days after the singer released his third solo album, Harry’s House, to positive reviews. He could continue his run of success by claiming all three spots on the UK singles chart. As It Was, the lead single from the album, is on track to claim its eighth week at number one, overtaking We Don’t Talk About Bruno from Disney’s Encanto to become the longest-running number one of 2022.

His tracks Late Night Talking and Music For A Sushi Restaurant, both from his newly released third album, could claim number two and number three respectively. As It Was was the only song to keep the UK's Eurovision saviour Sam Ryder from the top spot on Friday (May 20) as Space Man landed at number two, the same position as the singer did in the annual song contest earlier this month.

But as parents - and fans - tune in to hear Harry's bedtime story, many may once again be distracted by his new 'mental' accent. The Worcestershire-born star, who grew up in Cheshire, got his loyal followers talking following the release of an interview with Zane Lowe.

Those listening to the chat felt he sounded 'less northern' than fans have gotten used to. But the talk of Harry's accent is all too familiar as it wasn't long ago the same was being said about Liam Payne, whose post-Oscars interview with Good Morning Britain went viral.
