Harry Styles' Manchester One Night Only show has a big twist

Organisers have said Harry Styles’ One Night Only show in Manchester will be phone-free.

There had been rumours swirling the show on March 6 at Co-Op Live wouldn’t allow recording devices, after a job description on Indeed was looking for people to help with the operation.

Styles, 32, will release his fourth album, Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally, on the same day, and the show will be available to watch the on Netflix two days later.

But it has now been confirmed fans will have to keep their phones away during the gig, though concertgoers will still have access to their devices in case of an emergency.

And every pair of concert-goers will be given a disposable cameras to capture special moments.

The Co-Op Live has a maximum capacity of 23,500 people, and tickets to the gig were £20.

The One Night Only gig was announced after Styles announced his residency-style tour later this year, including a 30-night run at Madison Square Garden in New York and 12 nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

It comes after Harry Styles opened this year’s Brit Awards, also at the Co-Op Live, three years after his last performance at the Brits’, which saw him take home four gongs following the release of his album Harry’s House.

At this year’s ceremony was also Wolf Alice’s Ellie Roswell, who said it was a “pleasure” to collaborate with the former One Direction star for his new album.

The 33-year-old singer is credited with contributing backing vocals on Styles’ latest single titled Aperture, which marked his first release in almost four years.

The rock band have previously collaborated with Styles, having served as the support act for the singer during the European leg of his Love On Tour run of gigs in summer 2022.

Styles sent his fans into a frenzy last month when he released the single, which shot to number one on the UK Official Singles Chart.

Speaking to the Press Association on the red carpet at the Brit Awards 2026, Rowsell said: “I’m not really featured, I just did some backing vocals.

“But I love doing harmonies and I love Harry, so it was just a pleasure to be part of it.”
