Harry Styles Glasgow movie screening date revealed - here's how to get tickets

One of the world’s most prestigious celebrations of film is coming to Glasgow, as the London Film Festival heads north.

The screenings will give Glaswegians the first chance to see a selection of new titles at the Glasgow Film Theatre. Some of the most eagerly awaited and Oscar-tipped movies will be shown, with 13 new productions set to be screened.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical

October 5, 7.45pm

Emma Thompson leads a dazzling ensemble in this rousing big screen adaption of the smash-hit Olivier-winning stage musical.

White Noise

October 6, 7.55pm

Noah Baumbach’s adaptation of Don DeLillo’s ‘unfilmable’ cult novel is a wonderfully idiosyncratic dark comedy starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig.

Nanny

October 8, 6pm

Winner of the US Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Nanny is a captivating portrait of labour, privilege and motherhood.

Call Jane

October 14, 8.15pm

An important episode in the history of the American women’s movement is dramatised in this confident directorial debut from Carol screenwriter Phyllis Nagy.

Decision to Leave

October 15, 8pm

In this sublime, Hitchcockian noir thriller from Park Chan-wook, a detective gets a little too close to the murder he’s trying to solve.

My Policeman

October 16, 4.30pm

Like a forgotten treasure from the golden age of British cinema, this sweeping romantic drama stars Harry Styles in the title role.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

October 16, 7.15pm

More an equal than a sequel, Rian Johnson reunites with Daniel Craig (who reunites with that accent) for a new Knives Out.
