Former Tottenham star Gus Poyet has told Harry Kane to look at how Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker fared after their controversial moves to Manchester City, after he missed out on the “perfect” opportunity to leave the club.
City, who tried but failed to sign Kane last summer before swooping for Erling Haaland, snapped up Sterling and Walker in deals which angered the fans of their clubs at the time - although neither player has ever looked back.
