Harry Kane has been in the headlines this summer amid intense speculation over his future but his home plans suggest he is unlikely to leave the Premier League anytime soon.
Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has met with Kane over a stunning summer transfer to the Bundesliga giants. In May, Kane’s representatives held a meeting with PSG transfer chiefs over a potential move to the French capital.
However, the Tottenham striker is about to oversee the expansion of his new multi-million-pound mansion, perched on the edge of Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey. Kane’s plans are reminiscent of the Beckingham Palace residence of David and Victoria Beckham.
Kane, who celebrates his 30th birthday later this month, has just a year remaining on his Spurs deal but the renovation plans over the property – which he purchased in September 2021 – in the south of England suggests his future lies in the Premier League.
The superstar striker’s ambitious plans will see the property, located just 15 miles from Chelsea's Cobham training ground, boast an indoor golf driving range, a pool, a spa and a cinema. Kane has already received planning permission to demolish the existing main building, pool house and garage.
The new-look property will be over three floors and will boast dressing rooms, a glam room, a large circular bath and an infrared sauna. There will be four en-suite bedrooms for the family alongside rooms dedicated to boots and coats, with a further two bedrooms for the family’s staff.
Despite overlooking the famous golf course, the plans include a golf simulator to allow Kane to practice in his own home. The property was bought just shy of two years ago in a £6.65million deal and the family are now stepping up their plans to move in.
There were delays due to the Green Belt status of the property but those are believed to have been overcome with a wildlife-friendly garden along with a bat roost and bat boxes for biodiversity approval.
The Tottenham superstar currently leaves in Hampstead, north London, with his wife Kate and three children. The couple are expecting a fourth child later this year.
Kane wants to stay in England to become the Premier League's record scorer. He has found the net 213 times in the division, with only Alan Shearer boasting more goals (260). Kane is already England's record scorer (58) and Tottenham's record scorer (280).
