Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are gearing up for a final campaign blitz ahead of the upcoming election, with plans to visit all seven battleground states in the coming days. Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, will kick off her tour by spending Sunday in Philadelphia. Her itinerary includes attending church services, visiting a barbershop, stopping at a Puerto Rican restaurant, and visiting a youth basketball facility.
On Monday, Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota and Harris' running mate, will campaign in Manitowoc and Waukesha, Wisconsin. He will then join Harris for a rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where singer Maggie Rogers is scheduled to perform.
Harris will deliver her 'closing argument' speech from the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. This location holds significance as it was where former President Donald Trump spoke on January 6, 2021.
Walz is set to campaign in Savannah and Columbus, Georgia on Tuesday. Harris will continue her tour on Wednesday with visits to North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The Madison, Wisconsin event is expected to feature musical performances by Mumford & Sons and others.
Walz will be in Charlotte and Asheville, North Carolina on Wednesday. Harris will head to Nevada on Thursday for rallies in Reno and Las Vegas, followed by a stop in Phoenix. Musical performances by Maná in Las Vegas and Los Tigres del Norte in Phoenix are expected.
Walz plans to campaign in Harrisburg and Erie, Pennsylvania, as well as Detroit on Thursday. The campaign is intensifying as the election draws near, with both candidates making strategic stops in key battleground states.
