NEW DELHI: Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has expressed his compassion for Hardik Pandya as he faces a difficult period in his professional life. Harbhajan believes that Hardik, who "hasn't been a free man in the last two months," will find his freedom during the upcoming T20 World Cup next month.
Hardik had a disappointing IPL season, both as a player and as the captain of the Mumbai Indians, with his team finishing at the bottom of the points table. To make matters worse, he was constantly booed by fans whenever he stepped onto the field, even at MI's home ground, the Wankhede Stadium.
