Aston Villa goalkeeper Hannah Hampton has broken her silence after being omitted from Sarina Wiegman's England squad for the friendlies against Japan and Norway, which will take place in Spain later this month.
The European Championship winner has not featured for Aston Villa since September 25th with manager, Carla Ward, choosing to leave the stopper at home for their clash at Chelsea for “the best interests of the team”.
Despite this, Hampton travelled to Kingsmeadow to watch her team get beaten 3-1 by the current Women’s Super League holders and posted her support from the stands on Instagram in contradiction of Ward's instructions.
