The Bord Gais Energy Theatre has announced that Hamilton will make its Dublin debut next year.
The musical, inspired by the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, has traditionally ran in cities such as London and New York. Tickets for the Dublin run are expected to go on sale on April 28 at 9am.
The musical will embark on a nine week run starting on September 17. The theatre has previously teased the news on social media, with a cryptic post yesterday on Instagram labelled with the hashtag 'Wait For It', one of the hit songs from the musical.

Delighted fans wrote underneath the Bord Gais Energy Theatre's post on Instagram. Several quips inspired by the musical's hit tunes featured in people's reactions.
One fan wrote: "I think this is when we revert back to our 2016 selves."
Another person said: "I want to be in the room where it happens. "
The Dublin dates form part of the musical's upcoming UK and Ireland tour. The musical has never toured in Ireland before, making it a first for Irish theatre.
