Hamilton Accies team up with M&D's to offer free night out for fans and their families

A Lanarkshire children's charity and football club have teamed up to offer a spectacular free festive night out.

'Blameless', together with Hamilton Accies Community Trust and supported by fellow charity My Support Day, are inviting the first 100 Accies' season ticket holders and their families to join them as special guests at a private and exclusive showing of M&D's Magical Circus.

The event will take place at M&D's Theme Park, within Strathclyde Country Park, on Monday, December 12 from 7pm.

Season ticket holders and thier families with also enjoy a free tub of Lanarkshire's finest Equi's ice cream, courtesy of David Equi and family.

They'll also be joined on the night by Accies first team players, youth academy players, management, directors and coaches for what is sure to be a fun-filled event.

It is another fantastic festive offering from Hamilton Accies which includes their upcoming four-days of Christmas event at the football club in December, that will see a full nativity scene within a globe, visits from Santa Claus and children's rides in mid-December.

The Club also run their weekly foodbank, which is open to all, and their new 'Warm Tuesday' initiative whereby people can pop along to the function suite for a few hours and get some heat a free meal and hot drink and full use of the pool table every Tuesday between 5pm and 7pm.

Accies director Colin McGowan told Lanarkshire Live : "There is so much happening in the build up to Christmas for Accies both on and off the pitch.

"We have lots going on including our completely free community event at M&D's Magical Circus event, as well as us taking 50 families to see Elf and a further 150 people going to the panto at the Pavillion during the month of December.

"Dont forget also about our weekly foodbank, the babybank and Warm Tuesday's - all of which are designed to help those within our community.

"It's simply our way of supporting the community in such economically trying times and we warmly welcome people popping in to the club for more information."

Ttickets for the M&D's event for the first 100 season ticket holders are available at the ticket office at the ZLX Stadium from 11am today (Monday, November 28).
