Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin is hoping to bring in 'two or three' fresh faces to New Douglas Park ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.
The club announced the signing of winger Dario Zanatta from Raith Rovers on Wednesday, but Rankin isn't stopping there with his recruitment drive and expects to bolster his squad further in the coming days.
And he admitted that will also lead to players heading for the exit as well.
Rankin said: "We are looking to bring players in, hopefully two or three over the next few days, which will be important.
"We speak all the time about wanting quality over quantity and it will be that.
"The unfortunate side of that is when people come in, some need to leave. So there will be players going out.
"That's part and parcel of trying to make a successful team on the pitch."
New boy Zanatta had an impressive debut as Accies ran out 1-0 winners over Arbroath yesterday to pick up their first league win under Rankin.
And he added: "I'm delighted with Dario. I know what he's all about.
"It was four or five years ago we worked together at Hearts. He was a young kid then but he's gone away and developed, and worked hard on his game.
"For whatever reason it's not worked out for him at Raith Rovers but I'm delighted to get him in the building.
"He adds a different dimension to us entirely. He wants to score goals, he wants to beat people, he wants to be ruthless in the final third.
.
"It was a wee bit unselfish from him on Saturday when he was through and he tries to square it to Ryan One, but that just shows you the kind of player he is.
"I love the way he goes about his business."
