On Monday, Hamas announced that its leader in Lebanon, Fatah Sharif, also known as Abu Al-Amin, was killed in an Israeli strike in the south of the country. Hamas described Sharif as the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Lebanon and a member of the movement's leadership abroad.

Tragically, Sharif's wife, son, and daughter were also killed in the same strike, which occurred in the El Buss refugee camp on the outskirts of the city of Tyre. The loss of multiple family members in a single strike has deeply impacted the Hamas community.
