Pop and R&B star The Weeknd is collaborating with the producers of Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights to create an all-new walk-thru attraction based by his hit album “After Hours.”
The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare will feature several tracks from the album including “Too Late,” “Heartless,” “In Your Eyes” and “Blinding Lights.” The record will be reimagined as a horror movie soundtrack and guests will wind through the attraction filled with surreal and grotesque characters and themes all inspired by The Weeknd’s music, short films and wild imagination.
“I always wanted my own Halloween Horror Nights haunted house as Halloween has always been significant to my music, so this is a total dream come to life,” The Weeknd said in a press release issued by Universal Studios Hollywood. “I feel like my music videos have served as a launching pad for a collaboration like this and I cannot wait for people to experience this madness.”
Halloween Horror Nights officially opens on Sept. 8 and runs on select evenings through Oct. 31.
