Halle Bailey, known for her role as Ariel in Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of 'The Little Mermaid,' recently opened up about her newborn son and the meaning behind his unique name. Bailey, 23, revealed that her boyfriend DDG came up with the moniker 'Halo' for their baby boy, which they both instantly loved.
When asked if the name was a reference to Beyoncé's popular song 'Halo,' Bailey enthusiastically affirmed that her son 'for sure has a theme song.' It's no surprise considering Beyoncé has been a mentor to Bailey since discovering her and her sister Chloe Bailey's YouTube channel and signing them to her label, Parkwood Entertainment, back in 2013.
