Hairy Bikers, James Martin and Ainsley Harriott among all-star chef line-up for Bolton Food and Drink Festival

Some of television's biggest chefs will appear at this year's Bolton Food and Drink Festival.

James Martin will return for the 17th edition of the annual event, along with the Hairy Bikers and Ainsley Harriott.

Michelin star chef Michael Caines completes the festival's impressive line-up of celebrity chefs.

During the four-day event over the August Bank Holiday, the chefs will take to the stage to present cookery demonstrations.

There will also be hundreds of food and drink stalls, live music, street entertainment, and a wide range of food and drink related activities.

Bolton Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Hilary Fairclough, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome back such an incredible line-up of world class chefs to this year’s Bolton Food and Drink Festival.

“The live cookery demonstrations are such a big part of the festival, and we are looking forward to having a full programme for the first time since 2019.

“It shows how highly regarded the festival is that we continue to attract some of the best chefs in the country to show off their skills right in the heart of Bolton.”

Tickets for the celebrity chef events will go on sale later this year.
