NEW DELHI: India's Gulveer Singh was left disappointed after losing his men's 3000m gold medal for 'lane infringement' in the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tehran.

Despite finishing on top of the podium, clocking 8 minutes 07.48 seconds in the final, Gulveer's victory was short-lived as the disqualification was enforced.
