This winter there's something for everyone in GTA Online. Expected to be released on December 12, the upcoming update is set to introduce new content like the new illicit Salvage Yard business that's fueled by those audacious Vehicle Robberies. There' also going to be Drift Races for selected vehicles. Indeed, there's a lot to be happy about for the holidays.
What can players look forward to in this upcoming update?
It's a Steal
The Winter Update is going to put players right in the heart of the street crime landscape of Los Santos. That means stealing, stripping, and then selling the most in-demand vehicles. All of these action-packed robberies are going to be done on behalf of the illustrious Liberty City real estate developer Yusuf Amir.
Despite having what other people may never get in their lifetime, Yusuf continues to lust after the finer things in life. He's looking to increase the number of luxury import vehicles in his collection, regardless of the method. It's going to be a rather busy time since players need to plan and execute those intricate and high-stakes robberies.
The good news is that there's going to be a purchasable salvage yard that can be used as cover with Yusuf's cousin Jamal offering his hand to help. Those who can get their hands on the best of the best can sell it to Yusuf. Players can also salvage the parts of boosted vehicles to earn and keep the cash themselves.
Prepare to Drift
Players can also look forward to experiencing a new way to win in the game's new drifting modification for select vehicles and Drift Races Series. Drivers get the chance to test their skills through a series of new circuits.
They can also head on over to the LS Car Meet and enjoy the selection of vehicles which has the option of having a drift tuning modification added.
Features & Improvements
The upcoming update is adding new features which are:
- Wildlife comes to Freemode
- Animals now rove the Southern San Andreas landscape.
- This is only for console versions.
- GTA+ Members get access to The Vinewood Club Garage.
- This new vehicle storage facility can hold 100 vehicles
- PS5 and Xbox Series players get to organize and manage vehicle collections more conveniently through the Interaction Menu.
- This lets them move between garages with ease.
