GRSE, YIL step up shipbuilding, defence manufacturing capacity in West Bengal

GRSE YIL West Bengal Bengal Rajnath Singh India Suvendu Adhikari

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) and Yantra India Ltd (YIL) are expanding their shipbuilding and defence manufacturing capabilities in West Bengal, with five brownfield projects involving investments of more than ₹3,300 crore.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday laid the foundation stones for the projects at GRSE Bhavan in Kolkata, in the presence of West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari and senior central and state government officials.
