Growing concerns for welfare of missing Paisley teenager Lewis Thorpe

Concerns are growing for the welfare of a Paisley teenager who has gone missing.

Lewis Thorpe, 16, was last seen about 3pm yesterday (Sunday, January 30) on Greenock Road.

He is described as white British, 5 foot 8 inches tall, of a slim build, short brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, dark jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Police Constable Hamilton from Paisley Police Office stated: "We have growing concerns for Lewis and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Anyone who may have seen Lewis or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2960 of 30th January."

UPDATE: Lewis has been traced safe and well.
