The official ground-breaking has taken place for East Ayrshire Council’s new assisted living housing development at Quarryknowe in Auchinleck.
The project, which is being built by the council’s developer CCG (Scotland) Ltd for the East Ayrshire health and social care partnership, will include eight one-bed flats, a care provider’s base and a private garden for residents.
It will be similar to the local authority’s assisted living developments in Hurlford and Kilmarnock.
