A new Greggs has opened in Long Eaton, creating ten new jobs for the area. There's already one bakery in the town centre but the new one is based at Forbes Park, a new industrial estate off Fields Farm Road.
The bakery will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including its sausage rolls, steak bakes and vegan alternatives. Freshly-made sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats will also be available for those looking to grab a bite on-the-go.
Customers will be able to take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including breakfast combinations offering a sausage or bacon roll or baguette alongside an orange juice or hot drink - served until 11am every day. Flat white coffee and peppermint tea are among the hot drinks on offer at the new shop, all of which are 100 percent Fairtrade.

Customers will be able to make Click + Collect orders via the Greggs App. The shop opens with a fresh new look and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. It will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am-5pm and Sunday from 6am-6pm
A Greggs spokesperson said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”
Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Long Eaton has brought 10 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.” Hot items including southern fried chicken goujons and potato wedges will also be on sale. Any further jobs created at the Long Eaton shop will be posted on greggsfamily.co.uk.
