Gregg Wallace has mounted a fresh defence against allegations of misconduct during his time on MasterChef, insisting that the 45 complaints upheld against him amounted to a “pile on” rather than evidence of sustained inappropriate behaviour.
The presenter, who was dropped from the BBC series last July, said that only two complaints were raised during his nearly 20-year tenure on the show, with the remaining 43 emerging after what he described as “sensationalised (and untrue)” allegations became public in late 2024.
