Good morning. In the aftermath of the Liberal National party’s convincing win in the Queensland election, the Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather said Labor would have done better if it had worked with his party rather than fighting them.

Meanwhile, Australia has rejected the visa of the rightwing pundit Candace Owens ahead of her scheduled November speaking tour. And more than 60 climate change scientists have warned about the overuse of carbon offset schemes involving forest-related projects, which they say are “ineffectual”.
