Greater Manchester's most expensive streets where footballers, celebrities and businessmen live

Certain areas of Greater Manchester are like a magnet for the region's richest residents.

Footballers, celebrities and businessmen are most commonly known to flock to Hale, Altrincham and Worsley when buying a home.

It is no surprise then that these areas are rife with million-pound mansions, with some streets in particular being known as a 'millionaires row'.

Looking at the average house prices across Greater Manchester, a new tool by Property Solvers has found the streets where the highest-priced homes are located.

Chesham Place, Altrincham

Another street in the top 10 priciest streets is Chesham Place in Bowdon, where homes sell for an average of £1,888,888.

South Downs Road, Altrincham

Langham Road, Altrincham

Finally in Bowdon, properties on Langham Road have an average house price of £1,866,666 - making it the 10th most expensive street in Greater Manchester.

Commenting on the tool's findings Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had more than three sales.

“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Parsonage Road in Stockport sold for £11,000,000."

This data has been gathered from HM Land Registry, based on average house prices over the last five years.
