A 12-year-old boy known for busking on Market Street and wowing shoppers with his vocals has appeared on hit TV show America's Got Talent - and got a standing ovation from all the judges.
Alfie Andrew, who is originally from Reddish, appeared across the pond on the major US show on Tuesday (June 13) and belted out Hold My Hand, a high-powered ballad by Lady Gaga to a roaring applause from the audience. Watch it here.
And the clip of his audition, in which judge Sofía Vergara told him he was 'going to be a rock star', has already received almost two million views on Youtube and earned him quite the following on social media.
