The Great British Bake Off is going 'back to basics' after bosses were flooded with complaints about the series last year.
The thirteenth season of the beloved Channel 4 series, which saw Syabira Yusoff crowned winner, saw fans lose interest in the challenges while others complained that the show had “lost its identity”.
Fans complained the challenges were too difficult after contestants were tasked with creating a Halloween lantern that had to be a piñata, 3D biscuit masks and the “mission impossible” time constraints.
