So often when we speak about grandparents, we focus on the practical help they offer a family. With the rising average childcare costs in the UK forever at the forefront of parents' minds, it's no surprise that the help grandparents give to ease this burden is talked about so much as more than half of grandparents now look after their grandchildren while their parents are at work.
