The Grand National is making its much anticipated return next month, with hoards of people planning their journey to Aintree.
Kicking off in 1839, the Grand National is held annually though, like many events, it was subject to cancellations and delays in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. This year, it's back with a bang.
The Randox Grand National 2022 will take place at Aintree Racecourse from April 7 until April 9. As racegoers from across the country join local fans travelling to the famous site, there will be timetable changes across Merseyrail's Northern lines from Thursday, April 7 until Saturday, April 9.
