A gran who threw a glass of red wine at a Welshman in a heated debate about English people buying second homes in Wales has been ordered to pay £200 in damages.
Julia Taylor, a 61-year-old council support worker, chipped two of Alun Williams' teeth when the glass came into contact with them.
She had thrown the red wine at him in a fit of rage at a medieval pub in Chester after the strangers got into the property discussion and, she claims, he was rude to her. She says she had not meant for the glass to hit him.
