A gran died and her grandson was left badly injured after a tragic cliff crash in Benidorm. Janet Hobbs was killed when she lost control of her mobility scooter that she and grandson Alfie, 11, were riding.
It raced across a road and hit a barrier, throwing Janet off. Alfie was taken to hospital with multiple injuries while parents Jordan Hedley and Tom Nicholas were back in Cambridge, unaware of what had happened.
Alfie had been having a holiday with his grandparents, Janet and John Nicholas, when the tragedy happened. They were returning from a visit to the Cross of Benidorm on August 24.
