The Recording Academy is facing criticism after a tribute to Virgil Abloh at the 64^thGrammy Awards described the late artistic director of Louis Vuitton and Off-White founder as a “hip-hop fashion designer”.

The talented designer passed away in November aged 41 following a “private battle” with an aggressive form of cancer for more than two years, his family said in a statement at the time.
