Graham Potter is set the frontrunner to replace Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea after the German was sacked following The Blues 1-0 defeat away to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League.
The Brighton boss is believed to be Chelsea owner Todd Boehly's primary target after a stunning start to the term. Potter's seagulls have won four of their opening six games and impressed many with their opening day demolition of Erik ten Hag's Manchester United.
Brighton have granted Chelsea permission to talk to the Englishman after the Blues agreed to meet their whopping £16million compensation fee. The situation is expected to move quickly and there's a chance the Englishman could be appointed before the end of Wednesday.
