Chelsea have picked up an astonishing 20 points from the last 24 available against Tottenham in the Premier League.
To dive even deeper: In 61 Premier League games against Spurs, Chelsea have lost just seven matches. Chelsea losing to Tottenham? It simply doesn't happen. Losing this game would be absolutely critical for Graham Potter.
Spurs have scored just 40 goals against Chelsea in the Premier League in this century. Forty-seven games have been played, meaning Tottenham have scored less than a goal a game against their fierce city rivals.

More recently, Spurs have scored just six goals in their last nine league meetings with the Blues. In the same time, Chelsea have netted 15 times.
It's an incredible recent record for the Blues against one of their fiercest rivals. Usually derbies are games that supporters fear as much as they enjoy, but that hasn't been the case in recent times for Chelsea fans against Spurs.
The last time Tottenham won a Premier League game against Chelsea, you would have to go back to November 2018 – almost five years ago. Back then, Theresa May was the UK's Prime Minister, Donald Trump was the President of the United States and if you mentioned the word 'Covid' to someone, they would look blankly at you in bemusement.
Graham Potter was four months into his spell as Swansea City manager. It really was that long ago. But this weekend, when Chelsea take on Spurs, the fear factor is likely to be back for a lot of Blues supporters.
With one win from their last 10 matches in all competitions and a fan base that seems to be largely against the current head coach, things at the football club are not running smoothly right now; especially on the pitch. Since the turn of the year, Chelsea have scored just three goals in the Premier League. An unacceptable return given the amount of talent at the top-end of the pitch.
Such form has ramped up the pressure on Potter. Deafening boos rang around Stamford Bridge at full-time of the 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday afternoon with many supporters chanting, 'You don't know what you're doing!', in Potter's direction.
Since then, Potter addressed the media, who inevitably had countless questions to ask regarding his future, and backed himself as the right man for the job. "I'm sure there will be people out there that think I'm the problem, absolutely," the Chelsea head coach said. "I don't think they're right but I'm not arrogant enough to say their opinion isn't worth articulating."
football.london understands Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali remain supportive of Potter and his position as Chelsea head coach is under no significant threat. There is an appreciation from Boehly and Eghbali of the job Potter is doing behind the scenes at Cobham as he looks to spearhead an ambitious long-term project in west London.
It feels like something we're saying every week at the moment, but this weekend's game feels like a defining one for Potter. It was said before Southampton and it proved not to be the case but the thought of losing to Tottenham? It's dangerous to even imagine the reaction of Chelsea supporters.
Potter should be boosted, though, by Chelsea's recent record against Spurs, whether that is at home or away. Six wins from their last eight matches in the Premier League is truly exceptional given the two have finished close to each other in the last few seasons.
Chelsea, at the moment, are still supportive of Potter and still think giving him time is the correct process to follow. However, these are such unique circumstances because of how many players – eight to be precise – were brought in by the club in last month's frantic transfer window.
Each of the eight players, albeit only seven of them are joining because Malo Gusto will remain with Lyon until the summer on loan, are from foreign leagues and will need some time to settle in England. Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile and Enzo Fernandez are the three who have settled especially well since making the switch, but the rest have shown signs that they will need time to settle in west London, which is completely understandable.
Sunday's showdown with Tottenham is such a massive game for a number of reasons. The fact it's a London derby and one of the games both sets of supporters look at for every year when the fixture list is announced. The fact that the reverse fixture in August ended with a massive bust-up between both sides. And, of course, the possibility of it being a defining game for Potter's tenure at Stamford Bridge.
