Chelsea have confirmed Graham Potter will succeed Thomas Tuchel as Blues boss just over 24 hours after the German was dismissed from his post.
Owner of the club Todd Boehly has acted swiftly in sourcing Tuchel's replacement, with the Amercian businessman rumoured to have met Potter on the same day as the ex- Paris Saint-Germain boss was relieved of his duties to thrash out a deal that would see him leave Brighton & Hove Albion.
An agreement was quickly reached, with the Blues unveiling Potter as their new manager and handing him a five-year contract in the process. Just Wednesday morning the Seagulls boss was posing for Brighton's 2022/23 season team-photos, before heading to West London after being granted permission.
